Growing up in South Dakota, Michael pursued a career with a band he co-founded called Paradise Fears.

After graduating high school, they toured all over the US and UK, releasing a #2 album on iTunes - Battle Scars.

Michael recently released a solo EP called The Shift that features his vocals and songwriting in addition to maintaining his role in PF.
